One of the best ways to check out a property you are interested in is at an open day. This is also a great way to speak to the agents and find out what you need to know about the property. We have had lots of success with our open days and believe they are one the best ways to show off a property on the market.
An article from the ezinearticles.com/Do-Open-Houses says “The biggest beneficiary of a public open house is often the agent holding the house open. Open houses give agents an opportunity to meet prospective home buyers and sellers face-to-face in a relatively non-threatening environment. An open house can be a source of future business leads for the agent.”
Its not only beneficial to the seller to have most of the viewings on one day but it is also takes the hassle away from the buyer to have to schedule after work viewings – really the days are a win win for everyone!
If you would like to discuss an open day for when your property goes to market, please call us on 01604 636213 |

Former Northampton Mayor Malcolm Lloyd has successfully moved from Blue Barns Farm, Hardingstone with the help of theAgents.
"We instructed theAgents to sell our property as we were very impressed with the service they could offer. Once we had recieved an offer and the sale was agreed they managed some how to keep everything together when the sale at points looked like it would completely fall apart. They kept in constant contact with us and always returned our phone calls. We would most definitely recommend theAgents to anyone thinking of moving, they were fantastic!" Says Malcolm Lloyd
If you would like to recieve the same high level of service that this client recieved, please call our office (01604) 636213. |

The changing conditions in the sale and rental market make it paramount to have an agent that is pro-active with the marketing of your property.
An agent may be offering a range of services but are they all promise with no delivery? A successful agent needs to have experience in order to know the up to date market conditions, have a wealth of knowledge, be able to show their professionalism and advise in order to provide a quality successful service.
theAgents recognise the competition within the market place and appreciate that existing and prospective vendors and landlords are looking for a quality, reliable and highly professional service at a very affordable price.
Our boards are distinctive, our staff are some of the best sales people in the county and we pride ourselves on having a wealth of local knowledge and a good reputation for service.
By continuous monitoring of the sale and rental market, our products and services are constantly evolving in order to meet the expectations of our clients and to provide the best service possible.
With a competitive market it is important to achieve a buyer or tenant quickly. theAgents achieve this by providing extensive marketing which promotes your property to the widest possible audience. We also have a large quantity of potential purchasers and tenants on record just waiting for the right property to come along.
Here at theAgents we understand that being a trustworthy company, with staff who are able to offer experienced advice and guidance goes a long way.
Your home means security and a sense of belonging, moving can often be an overwhelming and stressful experience so it is not enough to just do the job well but, your agent needs to be sensitive to the trauma that moving home can mean.
Repeat business and recommendations are two of theAgents' strongest avenues of sales and lettings, which tell us that our company values of service and professionalism are making us a favorable agent in Northampton.

Some tips from the experts
Coffee smell! Property sell! Everyone I think has heard that trick. Brew up a pot of real coffee just before that door bell rings — and make sure the aroma of freshly ground coffee beans wafts through the hall and smacks likely buyers in the face — just as they walk through the door. That’s one. But probably not the best one in my opinion. Keep things tidy. A confident buyer bounds through the front door. An unconvinced buyer has had to sweep through litter, Indian menus, pizza menus, junk mail and an old nakered bike in the hall just to get in. Also In winter, have lights on during the day time. They can add enchantment. Or disenchantment, if light bulbs are missing. Lastly In vacant properties, always leave some furniture behind to give the place a lived in feeling. They say that if a buyer sits down in a property, they’re at ease with the place — and is possibly thinking of putting in an offer. For this reason, make sure there’s space round sofas and armchairs so viewers don’t have to step over coffee tables and magazines to get to them.

Luxury Abington rentals are seeing a boom in Northampton despite the uncertainty and many challenges faced by the economy.
Over the past two weeks, we have Let two, three bedroom homes in Abington each with several other tenants very dissapointed and missing out on Renting them. The summer months, being the time of year when most families relocating anywhere will choose to move, are traditionally always the prime market for high-end rental properties, however, this year has seen a notable increase in not only the volume of prospective tenants registering to rent at the top end, but also the budgets they are looking to spend on their accommodation. Indeed there is a large increase in the average budget at the top end of the market.
On this note, if you have a high-end rental property, and want to discuss finding a prospective tenant, then please call our office (01604) 636213.
